Shaping The Future

Biodiesel (UCOME)
Biodiesel is one of the most popular biofuels in Europe and is widely used in transport and public transport sectors. Many modern vehicles now use blends of biodiesel amongst regular diesel. Biodiesel is made through a chemical process called transesterification whereby the glycerin is separated from the fat or vegetable oil. The process leaves behind two products – methyl esters and glycerin.
Sustainable Aviation fuels (SAF)
SAF is a biofuel used to power aircraft that has similar properties to conventional jet fuel but with a smaller carbon footprint. Depending on the feedstock and technologies used to produce it, SAF can reduce life cycle GHG emissions dramatically compared to conventional jet fuel. Some emerging SAF pathways even have a net-negative GHG footprint.
About
Us
Our Story
With little more than a modest investment, we are building up a reliable “waste-to-energy” supply chain by effectively managing the waste of a rapidly changing society. We have gone from strength to strength, growing our operations and depot facilities throughout the world, and steadily adding complementary services to our total waste to energy management portfolio.
Who We Do
We transform used cooking oil into a wide variety of biobased products. The recycling process generates near-zero waste. We strive to maintain the highest standards in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality. To support these ambitions, we have developed internal software and obtained internationally certified management systems that allow us to verify that our fundamentals are reflected in our operations.
Our Vision
To become a world leader in the production and use of energy from renewable resources. To contribute to mitigating climate change in key areas of the global economy with global action biofuels could provide around 30% of all transportation fuels by 2050, thereby avoiding around 2.1 Giga tonnes of CO2 emission per year compared to the continued use of petroleum-derived fuels.
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO)
HVO fuel is leading the way to a greener future and is predicated to replace all FAME and fossil diesel fuels. The growth of HVO fuel will result in a decrease in traditional biodiesel demand and production. It’s a form of biofuel created from waste vegetable oils and fats and is considered a more environmentally-friendly and sustainable fuel than other crop biofuels.
Bio Marine Fuel
The second-generation fatty acid oil (FAME) B20 and B30 biofuel blends are derived from waste oil feedstock and provide vessel owners and charterers with a sustainably sourced, lower-carbon alternative to the current industry standard marine fuels. Using either of our B20 or B30 blends can help reduce a vessel's carbon fuel consumption by up to 30 percent and each fuel is inherently low in sulphur hence improving air quality through lower ash and emission profiles.
Co-processing
Co-processing is a process where biogenic feedstocks are co-processed with petroleum intermediate products such as vacuum gas oil to produce renewable hydrocarbon fuels.
The biogenic feedstocks suitable for co-processing include upgraded pyrolysis oil, vegetable oil, used cooking oil and animal fat/tallow. Other feedstocks of interest may include lignin and sugars.
